About Us

Welcome to Brighton School of Music! We are a vibrant, community-focused music school with a mission to make music education fun, inspiring and accessible for everyone.

Who We Are

Brighton School of Music is headed up by Will Nash - a professional multi-instrumentalist with years of experience both teaching and performing. Having played across the world, from songwriting camps in the USA to tours across Europe, and even major UK stages like Glastonbury – Will brings a wealth of musical knowledge and creative energy to everything we do here.

A Note From Will Nash

Hi everyone, my name is Will Nash and I've been playing music since I was 6 years' old and it is

undoubtedly my biggest passion in life! But another real passion of mine is learning and the passing

on of knowledge. I believe that music education should be accessible, exciting and empowering,

and it should be taught in a resonant and engaging way. My mission is to provide good quality

music tuition to learners of all ages and abilities across the city.

I lead a team of passionate and talented tutors who share my commitment to bringing the joy of

music education to everyone who wants it. Whether your goal is to master an instrument, find your

voice, or just have fun with music, then our team at Brighton School of Music is here to help you

achieve that.

What We Do

At Brighton School of Music we offer three core services designed to bring music into people’s lives:

1-to-1 Music Lessons – Personalised tuition for all ages and abilities across a range of instruments including piano, guitar, saxophone, drums and more. Lessons are available both in-person and online, delivered by passionate and experienced tutors who tailor their approach to each student.

Musical After-School Clubs – We partner with local primary and secondary schools to deliver fun, creative after-school music clubs that get children playing real instruments, collaborating with their peers and developing a love of music that lasts.

Holiday Music Clubs – Our lively and inclusive holiday clubs offer children the chance to explore music through group games, mini performances and collaborating with other children – ideal for working parents and budding musicians alike.

Why Choose Us

  • Fun-first philosophy: We believe music should feel like play, not pressure.

  • Experienced, passionate tutors: Carefully chosen not only for their musical ability but for their rapport with students.

  • Flexible learning: With a mix of in-school clubs, private lessons and holiday workshops, there’s something for every schedule.

  • Community-driven: We love Brighton and the surrounding areas, and we are proud to partner with local schools and families.
